Bring Backup

The most painful thing that can happen to a photographer is a dead battery. You need to have backups and in case of nature photography, all kinds of backups are necessary. Anything can happen at any given situation, such as a memory card running out of storage, memory card crashes, dead battery, etc. All these can affect the subject matter. As you are into nature photography, scenes change drastically, you cannot rely on anything. It is very important to have backups for such situations. Keep a pair of charged batteries, an extra memory card of 32GB or 64GB.

Look Around

Photography is a creative art and nature is the source of all creativity. The sky, the clouds, the moon and stars, the sunrise and sunset, the landscapes, everything has its own beauty. If you are into nature photography then dive into nature and you will see so much to capture through the lenses. Creative subjects, vertical perspectives, leading lines, etc are the elements through which you can draw the attention of the viewers. Different shooting angles, changing perspectives and most importantly choosing the desired subject is all you need to get the best. Remember that nature is the source of all subject matter you are searching for, all you need to do is look around.

Lighten Up your Images

The most essential part of photography is lighting. Without proper lighting, there is no way you can get great photos. You need to understand that it cannot be done through artificial lighting. Use the natural light in the best way possible to get flawless pictures.

Small is the New Big

Whenever we go out for clicking pictures in the greens, we often fail to capture the small yet amazing things. What we look for is great landscapes, sunrises, sunsets, etc for nature photography. Grab a prime lens and take all the amazing close-up shots. Look around for the small details. For instance, a picture of green leaves garlanded by the morning dew.
