Digital photography is the digital image capture, storage, manipulation, and output of light-sensitive digital media. The camera shutter speed can be set to any desired duration. This allows for slower shutter speeds which are ideal for capturing motion blur like that seen in a waterfall or moving cars etc. Digital Photography is also known as digital imaging or digital imager.
1) Image Resolution
Every digital image comprises tiny dots known as pixels. Each pixel contains its own brightness and color information. The higher the resolution, the more pixels are available for storing details in your digital photo. Resolution is measured in Megapixels (Mp).
The digital image resolution specification that digital cameras came to be known by was the Number of pixels along the width and height of the image, given as two separate numbers. For example, a digital camera with 2,048 (2K) by 1,536 pixels creates digital images with a 1,024 by 768 pixels. 2) Noise Reduction
Noise reduction is any one of several digital image processing techniques used to remove digital noise from digital images, especially those with even slight traces of grain or “noise” as digital imaging professionals say. Noise is frequently present, and some amount of noise reduction may be necessary for any digital image. As digital images become larger or continuous tones digital images, such as those from digital cameras, the effects of electronic noise can also be amplified.
